forty minutes on the freeway this morning, not too bad... second day in a row that the only really bad spot was on the 10 between washington/fairfax and the 405. listened to a new kind of army on the way, so I'm not complaining. now it's time to find the coffee pot.
You may not like
everything in life I do...
But that doesn't mean,
I'm not trying to change,
the same problems as you
california observation of the day:
the word "compact" is interpreted to describe the space, not the size of the vehicle it was intended for.
jesse and I went to this little japanese fast food place (the only other place within walking distance besides ronnie's) for lunch, because the nord twins (real last name) don't like it, but weren't here. a pile of really good gyoza, rice and sprouts for $4.50 sounds like lunch to me.
I just got my third "there's food in the building" email of the day.
55 minutes commuting from 1720... 15 of those because the traffic on valley just SUCKS. now I understand the "valley blvd traffic calming" signs I've seen.
in other news, I got results from the bloodwork from my physical that I had just before I left. "all of your labwork came back normal—except your triglycerides." in the numerical results section, my LDL level (less than 130 is indicated as normal) is described as "too high to calculate". isn't that rad?
