well, that's 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back. house of 1000 corpses is the worst movie I've seen since blair witch. if I wore a watch, I would have been checking it once a minute. blood + disjoint screaming + a score of less-than-B-grade horror clichés != scary. now, that one chick's voice... that's scary. or annoying. either way, I'll have nightmares about it. I should just give up on whatever this sub-genre of horror is called; obviously, I don't "get" it. one reviewer on IMDb commented, "It's going to be too much for some people—5 people walked out during my screening". well, neighbor, it's probably not safe to assume it's because they were scared... it's just a lot easier to get your money back if you ask in the middle of the film.
